ONA Election Ballot and Instructions

A message from ONA President Chanin Scanlon:

Oakhurstians: Attached please find the ballot for the April 13th ONA election held in Oakhurst Park.

Please make sure your dues are paid either prior to or at the drive-by voting between 3-7 pm or you will not be able to cast your vote. Hopefully this is the beginning of future ONA face-to-face meetings. Also, a reminder that we have some fantastic items that we are raffling. The winning tickets will be drawn at the conclusion of the meeting. You do not have to be present to win but you will need to keep your ticket stub to validate your win.

Of note, we have two outstanding candidates who are running for the position of Newsletter Editor, Jennifer Eggleston and Ted Bauer, I am copying their qualifications below for your review. Please vote for only one candidate. As always, write-in candidates are welcome. You can drop your ballot off in the park on April 13th and grab some dinner from one of our beloved food trucks. Thank you to all who were interested in running this year as well as those who agreed to stay on another year. It is truly appreciated.

Please see Jennifer's and Ted's qualifications below:

Jennifer Eggleston: Previously, I was the webmaster for ONA, and I’ve worked in communications, marketing, and community outreach for more than 20 years. From Pier 1, TCU, and my current position as director of Family Communications for Fort Worth ISD, I believe my skill set for editor of the ONA Newsletter is unique and perfectly matched.

Ted Bauer: I moved to Fort Worth in 2014. I'm originally from NYC. Been in Oakhurst with my wife, Katie, since September of 2020. I've been a freelance writer since 2015, and I frequently write newsletters for different brands and individuals, including my own (Context of Things). Familiar with all software required and want to turn The Leaflet into a must-read for our awesome community. Previously worked at ESPN, PBS, McKesson, and more.
