I-35W Construction Update

Here's the latest regarding I-35W construction developments affecting Oakhurst:

1. The closure of the southbound I-35W ramp to Northside Dr./Yucca Ave. has been extended. In the upcoming months, crews will be boring to bury AT&T telecommunications and Oncor distribution lines that are currently running overhead. Once that work is completed, the ramp will be reopened. At this time, an anticipated date is unknown; updates will be provided when available.

2. The northbound I-35W ramp to Spur 280/Downtown will be closed beginning this Friday for approximately one year:

3. Westbound I-820 drivers traveling to southbound I-35W to exit Meacham will be detoured to exit at Mark IV Pkwy and access Meacham via frontage roads for approximately two years:
