Fort Worth is implementing Stage 1 watering restrictions effective Monday, June 3, due to low water supply levels. What does this mean for you? Residential landscape watering is limited to a two-days-per-week schedule, as follows:
As always, there is no watering permitted between 10am-6pm, no watering of hard surfaces, no watering during precipitation, and no wastewater through runoff or missing, misaligned, or broken sprinkler heads. Exceptions to the restrictions are as follows:
Violations will receive an initial warning. Repeat offenses will be subject to an irrigation system lockout, which carries an administrative fee. Subsequent offenses may be issued a citation, with a fine of up to $2,000 per day. Each day is considered a separate violation. Questions?
